Monarch officials joined Cabarrus County leaders, community stakeholders and families of people living with mental illness to mark the groundbreaking for the Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center. Monarch has been selected as the provider of the critical mental health services at the center and is partnering with the county to deliver quality mental health care for all.
In her remarks during the event, Monarch’s President and CEO Dr. Peggy Terhune noted, “There simply are not enough services to meet the growing need for mental health and substance use disorders care our communities face. This center, and the services Monarch will provide here, will directly address those needs for children, adolescents, adults and their families.”
